Booking, Pricing, & Scheduling
Base pricing for our standard home inspection is displayed transparently on our website. Final costs are calculated inside our system based on square footage tiers, the age of the home, and any auxiliary add-ons you select.
What forms of payment do you accept for an inspection?We accept major credit cards and ACH payments securely through the digital payment links provided in your confirmation messages or in person before your inspection.
When is payment due for my home inspection?Payment must be completed by 5:00 PM the day BEFORE the inspection. If payment is not received by this deadline, our automated system will reschedule the appointment to the nearest business day available on my schedule.
How is the price of a home inspection calculated?What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my inspection appointmen?Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 48 hours prior receive a full refund or credit transfer. Notices given 24 to 48 hours prior receive a 50% adjustment. Within 24 hours, fees are non-refundable and forfeited.
Is a signed agreement required before you can perform the inspectionYes. A signed inspection agreement is strictly required by 5:00 PM the day BEFORE the inspection. Secure e-sign links are sent via text and email; failure to sign will result in a reschedule.
Do you offer real-time online booking, or do I need to call for a quote?Yes, we feature full real-time online booking. Our calendar engine allows you to choose an open slot and customize your services instantly.

Do you offer Pre-Listing Inspections for homeowners looking to sell?Absolutely. These are some of our favorite proactive clients! We provide Pre-Listing (Seller's) Inspections to help homeowners identify potential issues and build selling certainty before putting their property on the market
What is a Builder's 11-Month Warranty Inspection, and when should I schedule it?This is an inspection designed for owners of new construction homes. It should be scheduled during the 11th month of homeownership to catch system defects before the builder's 1-year structural warranty expires.
Can you inspect condos or townhomes, and how does that differ from a standard house?Yes, we provide specialized Condo Inspections. These focus heavily on the interior components, electrical, plumbing, and accessible major systems directly tied to your specific unit.
Do your inspections cover outbuildings, detached garages, or barns?Standard pricing covers the primary residential structure. Detached structures can be reviewed and added as specialized auxiliary services during online scheduling.
What ancillary services do you provide?At this time, we do not offer Wood Destroying Organism (WDO)/Termite, Radon, Water, nor Air Quality testing, nor sewer scope services. Technology & The Report
Is thermal imaging included in a standard inspection, and what is it?We offer Infrared Thermal Imaging as an ancillary service. It uses advanced thermal technology to detect hidden moisture anomalies, insulation gaps, and overheating electrical components behind finishes.
Is the inspection report mobile-friendly, or do I need to print out a PDF?Our reports are entirely mobile-responsive, allowing you, your family, and your agent to easily view high-definition media and system findings right from your smartphone or tablet.
How long does a typical residential home inspection take?Our standard single-family residential inspection generally takes between 3 to 4 hours on-site, depending entirely on the property's square footage, age, and layout complexity. However, when all of these conditions, and /or there are systems requiring further analysis and reporting, our inspection can take up to 5 hours if needed. It is our commitment to providing only the highest quality and comprehensive reports: in these situations, no additional charges are incurred.
Will my real estate agent automatically receive a copy of the report, or do I send it?You control the report distribution. Our portal allows you to easily share access with your agent so that you can collaborate on a negotiation strategy immediately.
What is the "Repair List Builder" feature in your reports, and how do real estate agents use it?This feature allows real estate agents to select defects straight from our interactive digital report and automatically generate a custom repair request addendum, saving hours of manual drafting during negotiations.
Authority, Credentials, & Policies
Do you carry General Liability and Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance?Yes, iNVision operates with complete professionalism and is fully backed by extensive General Liability and Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance policies.
Do you share my inspection details or report with insurance companies or third parties?No. Your privacy is paramount. Information collected and reports generated are used strictly to fulfill your request and are never shared with outside parties without your explicit authorization.
Will you tell me whether or not I should buy the house based on your findings?No. Equally important, we will tell you not to buy a house either. We give you the data you need to make an informed decision, but the choice to purchase rests with you.

If I have questions about the report after reading it, can I schedule a follow-up call with the inspector?We encourage clients to seek independent, licensed professionals in Middle Tennessee to maintain a completely objective boundary between our findings and the repairs: so to protect our ability to assist you and your family with an unbiased perspective.
If the report identifies defects, do you offer repair or contracting services to fix them?No. To maintain absolute integrity and avoid conflicts of interest, we never perform repair work or contracting services on properties we inspect.
